our classes
Seeds 2-3
Designed for new 2 and 3-year-olds, these classes feature developmentally appropriate, accessible materials that foster learning and independence through guided, hands-on play. Weekly themes encourage exploration and vocabulary growth via daily read-aloud of repetitive books, poems, and songs that promote participation and listening skills. Each week includes new opportunities for fine motor development, art, and gross motor activities. Teachers support children’s confidence and self-reliance while incorporating Bible lessons and music into the daily routine. Potty training is not required.
Sprout 3-4
Designed for the growing 3-4 year-old preschooler. These classrooms are set up to encourage children in their ability to engage in group activities as well as gain social skills that will help nurture all aspects of learning, each with a focus on letter and sound recognition, name recognition, fine motor, pre-writing skills and development of gross motor skills. Bible lessons, and music are also incorporated into the daily schedule. Children are required to be potty trained for these classes.
Pre-K
These classes are designed for 4-5 year olds preparing to enter kindergarten. Each week, teachers craft a themed curriculum that creatively reinforces essential kindergarten readiness skills such as academic concepts, listening, following multi-step directions, social interaction, motor development, and independence. Instruction methods include individual, small, and large group activities, guided reading and writing, phonics, and whole-language literacy. Hands-on literacy and math centers use manipulatives and games, complemented by choice centers, indoor/outdoor gross motor play, Bible lessons, and music. Enrollment requires children to be potty trained.
Sprout provides flexible 2, 3, and 5-day enrollment options for all age groups. Our academic year spans September through May, complemented by an optional Sprout Summer program held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout June.
